Goal #1 of digitalorchestrations is to provide top quality scores and parts for live recordings of orchestral music for Film and TV.
Goal #2 is to do this at affordable rates.
We achieve these goals by applying a purely digital, streamlined production process to the creative work of orchestration. For us, orchestration is a transformation of sequenced music into printed music, laid out for the instrumentation of a specific scoring date.
Our input is the composer's sketch in the format of any leading sequencing software, and an audio demo of it. To create the score, we use Finale® and follow the composer's direction as well as giving our creative share.
For the composer's approval we place a score preview in Adobe Acrobat® format on our Web server (restricted access), or send a printout per fax.
After corrections and changes have been applied according to composer's wishes, we print the score on professional scoring paper.
